Non disclosure of Flight Centre fees

The Mall of Reds Flight Centre branch assisted me with Schengen Visa application. I bought the flight tickets from another branch where they advised that no fees will be charged for visa assistance. When I paid for the visa costs and visa agent fees no mention was made of Flight Centre costs. 2 weeks later I received the invoice stating the Visa Agent and Visa costs, no mention of fees for Flight Centre. I smelled a rat as I realised that the visa costs paid at the embassy plus the visa agent fees was much less than the amount paid to Flight Centre. I quieried this with Flight Centre and only then did they disclose their fees of R1000 for Flight Centre. I was very disappointed and felt betrayed. They just said that this is normal practice. Even the Customer care staff covered for the branch staff. Very disappointing experience
