Misleading advertising
Adverti*****ts pop up on the internet reflecting flights from as low as R549 Durban to Cape Town however when you click on the link to book now there are no flights available at the advertised price.
I queried this with Flight Centre and failed to get a response that made any sense. There is no evidence that they could provide to support flights at such prices hence their advertising is very misleading and it is clearly a waste of time to visit their site based on such adverts.

When clicking on this deal, you are taken to the Flight Centre website where you are able to search for your specific dates and to obtain a price for these specific dates. Our industry is heavily reliant on availability which changes on a constant basis. It is for this reason that the flight search page on the Flight Centre website where you were directed to, notes that prices are subject to availability. Your preferred travel dates were for a departure in December which is considered as peak season. The price to travel on your preferred dates was considerably more due to peak season travel and limited availability.
We would still love to assist you with quotation for your preferred dates, Please feel free to contact our Customer Care team should you require any assistance with an updated price for your preferred dates of travel.

I never selected travel dates hence have no idea how the response provided is applicable! Perhaps this is a standard response to hide behind the fact there are no fares available at the advertised prices.
