Inflexibility from travel agencies and major airliners

How is it possible that travel agencies and major airline companies refuse to refund clients for travel arrangements being made to countries which are in lock down due to the Corona virus. Nobody knows what is going to happen and people in general will feel uncomfortable to travel in the foreseeable future. One should expect additional flexibility due to extra ordinary circumstances.

As a full time Farmer, I don't have the time to re-write all my emails and repeat my requests. The answer is simple, refund your clients without deducting excessive admin cost. I paid the amount of R24 820.00 for a hotel in London. The refund is R18750. 00. Why deduct an amount of R6070. 00. Does not seem correct or fair.
