Flight Centre Online Flight Cancellations
I booked 2 flight tickets through Flight Centre Online on the 9th to July 2019. Leaving ORT to Heathrow made full payment. Flight scheduled for the 29th October 2019. This all went well.
App**** for the visitor’s VISA to the UK. On the 7th October 2019 we received a letter from the UK Home Office indicating the the VISA have been refused.
On the 7th October 2019 I forwarded an email to ***. Requesting a cancellation due to the visa not been approved. I attached both letter with the UK Home Office explaining why they have been cancelled. I never received any response from Flight Centre. A couple of days later I called them to discover that they don’t do refunds and the flight tickets cannot be rescheduled.
I again forwarded an email to the same email address stating that this is not excepted as I have informed them in advance about the cancellation. I did received a call from them stating that they will looking to this.
I received an email a couple of days later stating that Flight Centre will try and recover some of the funds from Virgin Atlantic.
I booked with Flight Centre online and not Virgin Atlantic.
