Flight Centre are *******!
At the Travel faire a few years ago I bought a R5000 Flight Centre Gift card. I moved homes and lost the card, had it reissued and at no time was told the card would expire. I tried to use the card last week and was told by Flight Centre that the card had expired after 3 years and that I had lost my R5000. This is unbelievable and I will never use or recommend this company, who have practically ****** R5000 of my money!

Thank you for reaching out and for taking the time to detail your frustrations.
We can confirm that a voucher was originally purchased during the 2015 Expo. You had reached out to Flight Centre in December 2015 noting the loss of your gift voucher. Although the standard conditions do note that a voucher is to be treated as cash, a concession was made and your gift voucher re-issued in-store. Based on our timeline you had collected the gift card, inclusive of terms & conditions in February 2016.
The terms & conditions available on the gift card notes that the voucher will be forfeited three years after the initial purchase and any balance will be forfeited. We will always strive to ensure our customers are informed and genuinely regret that this is not your perception.
We do believe the information supp**** on the voucher was clearly detailed and truly empathise that you had not redeemed the voucher value in time.
