Do it Yourself

We booked a return flight from Jhb to C.T. through Flight Centre, but on checking in found that my husband and I had been booked on two separate flights. We then had to queue at Ticket Sales to secure a ticket for him on the same flight - at a cost of R445.00. Flight Centre seem reluctant to refund us this amount and we suspect that they are going to somehow make it out to be our fault. The lesson from it is to do it yourself.

Dear Helen
Thank you for your patience and allowing us the opportunity to review your concerns. We have reviewed all documentation pertaining to your booking and discussed your concerns with the relevant parties.
Our investigation into your concerns identified a system error occurred during the booking confirmation process. This resulted in the booking between your husband and you being erroneously split. On behalf of Flight Centre Travel Group, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience experienced as a result of the error. In light of our investigation and as a gesture of goodwill, Flight Centre is affording a refund of the change penalty your travel party incurred as a result of grouping the booking at the airport. We further confirm the team leader of our Rosebank store is in contact with you to process the refund back to you.We trust you will find the above in order and remain at your disposal.Kind Regards  ~T.M
