I booked a flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town with Flight Centre in Clearwater Mall. While in Cape Town, I rescheduled my flight from the Friday evening to the Sunday evening for R1550. I again tried to reschedule that flight on the Sunday to the Monday evening at R1400. Clear instructions given only to find when I got the Airport that the flight Mahlodi Monama from Flight Centre booked me was for the Tuesday night instead, so I had to pay another R2800 at the airport to fly the actual Monday night! So in total her Mistake coast me R3500. They were only willing to refund me half off the R1400 for the wrong flight booking as she claims it was half her fault and half mine as I didn’t check the date. I don’t want to be funny but if I book a flight online I accept it’s on me to get it right but when I pay someone to do a service for me I expect them to get it right, especially if they do that job for a living and do it everyday. But like most services in SA, totally imcompetent by unqualified or way underqualified staff. Will never buy a flight with any “Mistake Flight” Centre ever again.
