Please however desperate you can be NEVER make your booking via Flight Centre.. I went to their website on Friday, 21 September to make booking for flight from OR Tambo to Cape Town total cost was R4400 and upon making a payment suddenly there's an extra charge of R1598 which i was not aware of when i confirmed the booking . I would not have a confirmed the booking had a known that the total cost was R6601... I want my R1598 back because i was deceived into confirming the booking thinking the cost was R4400....

Our Online Team has confirmed that you would have been provided with a final amount of R 6,010.00 as the total payment due, at the time of check out. You would have had to view this amount on screen prior to confirming that you wished to proceed with the confirmation of the booking.
The Online Team have requested that you send through the authorisation messages that you received from the bank to further review the matter and to afford you feedback. The aforementioned request has unfortunately been declined by you.
The transaction amount of R 6,010.00 was split into two amounts, as payment was taken by two different booking systems. An amount of R 1,598.00 and R 4,412.00 was deducted for payment. We have obtained the screenshot which you would have viewed at the time of check out and confirm that the total amount was indicated as R 6,010.00 and a break down was provided at this time.
Our Online Team would be happy to discuss the matter further with you should you afford them the opportunity to do so.
