cancellation of tickets

Booking was done at flightcentre Musgrave.Due to unforeseen circumstances I am unable to fly.Notice period is more than a month, however agency is unable to assist.No resolution offered.I am prepared to pay a cancellation fee for a refund or accept a voucher for a later date, however no solution offered.The agency service is disgusting as I am a first time flyer and this information was not mentioned. After numerous emails and calls , there is still no assistance.
