Assistance with delayed flights

After having issues with my daughter flight with Quantas to NZ via Aus, I contained Lloyd Machiri from Blackheath JHB. He let me know that they could possibly not help, but that he would.do his best (tickets were bought in NZ through Flight Centre) to help. I was to email him flight info and the info regarding the issues we were having. He let me know that typical turn around time was 2 hours, but that he'd look out for my email.and pick up from his colleagues should my email get to one of them. Being used to SA service, I was not holding my breath. Well Lloyd more than kept his promise. His turn around time was just on half and hour! Fortunately I had just received confirmation from my daughter that Quantas had finally sorted the flight to NZ after being told the worst case scenarios for her!

Lloyd, I am truly grateful for you and Flight Centre SA!! I went to Flight Centre Hillcrest and dealt with a lovely lady, Yuthika Rabilal, who tried to reach Flight Centre NZ's 24/7 helpline as I was unable to do so. She sat and wanted for someone to answer the call for over half an hour! She tried numerous numbers to try to reach someone who could help, but was not successful at all! They could not help right away as SA do not have access to NZ client info (NB note to Flight Centre management: this may be something that could be changed? It would be beneficial for all of your clients.)

Both Lloyd and Yuthika were happy to help us and tried! And we are not their clients! A HUGE thank you to you both. You helped a very anxious mom's nerves calm, just knowing that someone was there to try to help. Thankfully it was all resolvedny the airline - thank you for the advice Yuthika, which I did pass on to my daughter and they were put on a flight to their end destination.
