Sales lady looses business

Flick Pest Control has just lost a certain sale to a complex in Johannesburg because of their sales person, Ria.

When I made a telephonic appointment with her, she suggested Friday, to which I responded that I was available before 11h00. She then said she'd see me sometime before 11h00. I despise such fluid arrangements and asked if we could specify the time at 10h00. She agreed and, in saying goodbye, I confirmed that I would see her at 10h00 on Friday.

I set out on some errands on Friday morning and returned in time for my 10h00 appointment. Just before 10h00 I phoned to check that all was still O.K. for the appointment, only to be told by an audibly annoyed Ria that she had been at my residence earlier and had waited for me for a full hour.

At this, I simply said: 'Ria, clearly you and I have started off on the wrong foot . Best we don't do business together." I chose not to get into an argument, but Flick Pest Control will never see my business again.
