Still Unresolved — Repeated Requests Instead of Real Assistance

I previously raised a complaint regarding a hand injury where my network GP referred me for X-rays and a soft-tissue ultrasound, which is clearly covered under my policy when done by a network doctor and network radiologist.

Despite following the policy exactly, I was later informed that the claim was not covered because the scan was done on my hand, and that only abdominal ultrasounds are covered — a limitation that is not stated anywhere in my policy wording.

This matter is still unresolved. Instead of properly investigating or explaining the issue, Flexicare continues to send me the same radiology request form repeatedly, without actually assisting or addressing the problem. This is extremely frustrating and unhelpful.

I am simply asking for this to be resolved according to the policy I pay for, or for a clear written explanation referencing the specific policy clause that excludes this scan. So far, neither has been provided.

I contacted Flexicare again and spoke to the same call centre agent I dealt with on 6 December. She confirmed that she understands my issue and advised that she discussed it with her operations manager, who acknowledged that the policy wording is incorrect. She further stated that they have identified other areas in the policy that also need to be corrected and will be amended. Despite these admissions, Flexicare still maintains that they are unable to assist, even though they have clearly acknowledged that the policy wording is not correct.
