Lies left me in debt
Jenus, you are quick to take my money and now I am left with R9 000 debt! Consultant sold me a Gap Cover saying the was a 3 month waiting period. My pregnancy happened after this waiting period and now Jenus refuse to pay the short fall because apparently the waiting period is 12 months. Your sales consultant should be liable for lying to me. As per the recorded call you sent me.... the consultant confirms the 3 month waiting period. <br> Fix your mistake Jenus!

08 Mar 2016, 15:59Hello tdefreitas,
Thanks for your enquiry. Our records show that the consultant advised you that underwriting and exclusions may apply given that Gap is a short term product, separate to your medical aid. The Gap Policy document which was emailed to you on the 07.10.2014 at 16:28 to *** outlined the terms of the cover which includes a 3 month general waiting period, a 12 month pre-existing condition waiting period and a 12 month pregnancy exclusion. Your start date was for the 01.11.2014 and premiums are collected in arrears - i.e. at the end of November for November. We received no objection from you regarding the policy document and terms thereof which was sent to you before your membership commenced. In addition to this, the administrator has advised that the cover was never activated due to banking details not being validated - therefor no premium has ever been deducted for the Gap cover. Please advise if you queried that your premiums were not deducting? Please direct your correspondence to ***.
