What does in patient hospital stabilisation and treatment really means ? Does it cover a possible heart attack or even a stroke suffered at home ? Your benefits clearly only state emergency and car accidents ? Please advise if my interpretation is incorrect and explain in more detail hospital admission? At this stage of my membership I have received very good service .

09 Aug 2025, 19:17I was phoned by Flexicare but the consultant was extremely vague and then said somebody from Discovery would phone within ten minutes to explain my questions , a very long ten minutes two days later with no call .But actually this was expected as the reply above could have included a straight forward explanation to a simple question or in my opinion Flexicare does not no what to reply??
How was I then to know ? I mean MEDICAL BENEFIT WORDING in their own words is a bit confusing to them AND THEN referring it to Discovery ????STABILISATION in a hospital is a treatment to a emergency situation and do not say a heart attack or stroke for example is not a emergency ? Can you now favor me with a detailed explanation or must I continue with questions in this media as I am sure other members will also find it most interesting ?Seems to me the good service previously mentioned has dried up ???
