Flexicare is not worth your time

I do not recommend this product as I was fooled in believing that they care about their clients. I had an insident where I needed medical emergency attention and found out I wasn't covered for the particular emergency assistance. I joined this brand thinking that I would have piece of mind if any medical emergency or medical assistance would me needed but to my surprise. The consultant that called was very nice but fell short of explaining what tiers or levels you do get when joining. This is clearly stated in our telephonic conversation we had,which I requested. Still I was left on a tier that didn't cover the insident when it happened. I requested that they look into this and to review my situation but it came back as I'm in the wrong. The conversation that was telephonically recorded was in my favour but not to them, I was in the wrong due to my financial status. Which was never discussed cause you do need have to meet any financial criteria to join this medical insurance scheme. So I'm left with a bitter taste in my mouth with this product and to think that this is a Discovery branded product. I expected much more from them as to just take your hard earned cash and kick you to the curb when you need them the most. I was a member for only 6 months but after this experience, I'll never join any Discovery product again. This is more a money making business and not a helping people business.
