OFF MEAT ON SALE

So... I write this review as I am very disappointing in Fleisherei. I have been supporting the company since 2014 When Moving back to Centurion and discovered the branch in Hennopspark area. Their meat was great quality at affordable prices - we did all our shopping there of all our meat products but mainly I would stop there at least once a week on my own to buy Hunters biltong and every so often we would go tot he Bistro to have a lunch or Breakfast there. Lately we have been looking for other butcheries to buy at as Prices are getting more more expensive and the quality of meat is going down.... for example....On Wednesday the 24th of January 2018 I stopped at the small Meat@za (part of the Fleasherei group) shop at the Pick and Pay in Centurion Lifestyle centre. I took a Nice piece of Biltong off the Rack and requested it cut for me and I wanted it all.... to my amazement - after the cashier cut the meat she requested me to take another piece as the one I picked smelled OFF..... i then decided to take another one..... from a different section..... she cut it and rang it up.... R 145.... for a Small bag of biltong.... Not impressed but okay - I have been supporting them for long... I also took a pack of Honey Glazed Bacon Biltong..... paid for all.. and left... when I got back to my office and oppened the Biltong.... it to smelt off..... I left it and opened the Bacon Biltong.... the hardest distasteful piece I have had.... ever... that to went to the dustbin.... not impressed hey.... we will unfortunately not be shopping at Fleisherei or MEAT@ZA stores anymore.... think we will be sitting with another Meat World Scenario soon.... Owners are to focused on the profits and not what got them to their standard in the first place.... REFOCUSING IS NEEDED BEFORE I COME AND BUY THERE AGAIN
