Branch closed but they don't bother to alert their customers.

So today I went to my local branch only to find it closed permanently since 23 May. So, after coming home I checked in their newsletters and social media. Nowhere is it mentioned that the branch is closing. I checked their website and it still shows the branch as open.

I sent a message only to receive this "Good day Shawn, we apologize for the inconvenience caused and that you missed the notifications at our storefront. The Kingfisher Branch closed on 23 May 2022. You are welcome to visit our online butchery at www.biltong.co.za to place your meat and biltong order online for delivery to your door. Don't hesitate to contact us should you require any further assistance."

So according to them, it was my responsibility to visit the branch to see that it's closed. No acknowledgement that they should have notified people of the closure. Between all their communications channels they didn't feel it necessary to notify anyone.
