Nothing VIP about FLEET VIP Solutions.

’m dissatisfied with the service, or lack thereof, that i received from Outsurance and specifically FLEET VIP Solutions.

In the early hours of the 30th December my car was broken into and well, they failed to ***** it. the ignition and driver side door lock was damaged. I could not start the car.

the OUTsurance consultant was helpful and understanding and the tow truck arrived an hour later.

Later the day i got a call from Sasha explaining the procedure. Sasha said: My car was at some depo and they will do an assessment and get back to me.

So she does get back to me and tells me the assessment quote is done and that i have to pay R4010.00. I’m like ohk...

I did not know that i can check this assessment, and Sasha did not explain the contents of this assessment. She advises me that the car will be sent to FLEET VIP Solutions.

Anyway. The first week of January comes and I call FLEET VIP Solutions. There is no answer. I inform OUTSURANCE.

OUTSURANCE consultants inform me that FLEET VIP Solutions is closed.

So on to week two. And finally someone from FLEET VIP Solutions answer the phone. They inform me that the car is there and the parts are ordered. They also say they were not closed and that their landline was down because cables were ******. HOW is this my problem?

ALSO, They cannot and do not give me a time as to when the car will be fixed. They also tell me the car is with them since the 10th January. They also tell me that they spray painting the drivers side door. I was not advised of this when i got the assessment quote and i think to myself, but that’s unnecessary.

And we enter week three of the year, I call again on the 17th January and FLEET VIP Solutions advise me that they still waiting for the part. I inform OUTSURANCE that i’m still waiting for my car.

The consultant from FLEET VIP Solutions says she will give me a courtesy car if my car is not fixed by Friday.

I’m still calling to check on the progress, and finally Friday arrives and they send a driver to fetch me. And this after i called a few times.

So i get to the FLEET VIP Solutions offices and they tell me my car is being washed. I wait for at least half hour.

I finally get my car and i notice that my AUX cables aremissing, the iphone charger is gone and the money in the ashtray too.

But what angers me most is that the steering column is not aligned properly and that the driver side door needs to be nudged to open.

They clearly did not do a good job. I am not impressed.

What's the solution to this? Who knows, maybe delayed reactions from both parties.
