Disappointing service
The service at Fleet VIP has been nothing short of bad.
My car was taken in for panel beating on the 4th January after they indicated that they parts were available. I was initially given some progress on my car but then nothing. I contacted the company of the 20th after receiving a message that my car was in paint preparation on the 17th January. On the 20th when i made contact i was informed that there were parts missing. i requested to speak to a manager and was passed around from pillar to post withou a clear indicating as to what was happening, but the receptionist indicated she would push for someone to contact me and for my car to be ready on the 22nd of the latest the 24th. On the 24th January at 09:00 i called and spoke to Lerato who promised to get some idea as to when i would receive my car and call me back. I called back again at 13:00 and received the same message from her. I decided to go to the business at 16:00, and was informed that the car was in for polishing and a wash and would be ready soon. Only at 17:50 did I receive my car with some parts which were not new, as I identified scratches and informed the workshop manager Alistair. He indicated i need to contact him and make an arrangement as to when i can bring my car in or when he can collect it to put in the new parts. I will once again have to be inconvenienced to ensure I get the correct parts which have been paid for. Once i got home i sent them an email with images of the sections on my car where the workmanship was not very satisfactory and i have still not received any communication.
My insurer, miway sent me to this panelbeater, and I would like them to know how the money they spend to buy parts is clearly not used for the intended car, but instead we are paying to be ****** and given second-hand parts.
Very disappointed client Masetshego
