Fixxit claimed to specialise in Miele appliances and we therefore booked them to work on a Fridge of ours

The fridge was not getting cold, they came out and did something... Still not sure what. They left and the fridge started beeping and was warmer than before. They came back and fiddled some more, I believe they re-gassed the fridge at this point. They left and suddenly the fridge turned into a Freezer. By this point our confidence in Fixitt was non existence and we decided to call out Miele. Miele arrived only to advise us that the Solenoid valve had been removed and the wires cut by the previous repair people and the fridge of course would not work. I immediately called Fixxit who promised to call me back and never did. I went straight to their premises in the morning where they refused to acknowledge what they had done. They were adamant that they needed to collect the fridge to assess it and repair it. Being desperate I agreed and was promised an equivalent loan fridge. They arrived to collect the fridge and replace it with an old rusty piece of ****. I immediately told the driver to take their broken fridge and not to remove the Miele. I heard nothing from them and have had no joy getting them to admit what they have done. It is going to cost R10k to fix what they have broken. I have never received such shocking service and been ********** so badly in my life.
