Fixit Electronic Repairs (PTY ) LTD Bloemfontein - DISHONEST!!! Do not contact this company!!!

I have a Samsung Top Loader washing machine that I sent to Fixit for repairs as the machine had stopped working. They claim to have replaced the clutch solenoid on the machine and invoiced me R980 for the replacement thereof but a couple of days later the machine stopped working again.

I contacted Fixit and spoke to a person by the name of Jacques and explained to him that the washing machine had stopped working again with the same malfunction as originally sent to them for repairs. Jacques told me that they would collect the machine and have a look.

Prior to them taking the machine for a second time I marked all the components with a koki pen and took photographs of the components and video of the waterpump that was not working properly as it was making a rattling noise.

After a couple of days of not hearing anything from Fixit, I phoned Jacques to enquire what the problem was to which he responded that the waterpump had to be replaced as a peanut had been found in the waterpump and this caused the waterpump to breakdown. I responded that this is highly suspect as we do not eat Peanuts in my household...

The machine was returned to me the following day along with a new invoice of R550 for the replacement of the waterpump. As soon as the delivery people plugged the machine into the electrical outlet I heard that the waterpump was making the same noise as prior to sending the machine in for repairs. I then proceeded to look in the machine to see if the waterpump was replaced and to my utter disgust discovered that not only had the pump NOT been replaced but they (Fixit) did not even attempt to make an effort to create the illusion that the wqaterpump had been replaced by cleaning the original pump.

Naturally I told the delivery people to leave my premises immediately and that I refuse to pay the invoiced R550. I proceeded to phone Jacques to which I only got voicemail. I left him a message that I refuse to pay the R550 as Fixit had done absolutely no work on the machine and had not replaced the waterpump at all.

Well it has been almost a week that has passed and I have to date not heard anything from Fixit. If Fixit had truly replaced the part, they would certainly have contacted me by now demanding payment or threaten to hand my account over to debt collectors at the very least. You decide why they have not made any demand for payment but I think the reason is apparent...

Do not contact this company for repairs. They are not honest in their trade. It is just a pity that I cannot upload the photographic evidence I have to show the world how dishonest this company is.
