Fixitt prices and service: appalling!!

Don't ever think of using Fixitt to fix your appliances. I called them in August 2019 to repair a light in my Roblin cooker hood. They quoted me R1854.75 to repair it. I paid that amount in early September. They finally arrived in January with a replacement holder but the globes wouldn't switch off. They then decided the mother board had to be replaced and they quoted me a further R3379.98 to replace that. In desperation I turned to Eurafrican who supply the parts. They couldn't believe the markup on the bulb holder. Within days they had replaced the motherboard themselves for R2335 plus a call out fee of R575, which came to R2910 and much less than the R3379.98 quoted by Fixitt without labour!! They are a **** and a nightmare!!!!
