Fix it, rather break it

Took my car for service in August 2023, all good no issues. 4 months later can engine comes on, long story short towed the car to mechanic to fins plugs are dead. Phone Fix it they say we dont stock those plugs. What???? Then tell me so I can find them!!!! Its now 2 months cant get homd of them at all!!!
