Questioning the product readiness of Fitbit technology

I bought 2 Fitbit Charge 3's on 2019/06/03, one for me and one for my wife. One of these screens became totally blank, which I returned to the store to get replaced and was replaced on 2020/03/03 (not even a year into use). Then the other screen also went blank as well and not long after the replaced Charge 3 screen also went blank. (So ... NO SCREENS working and this is now 3 Charge 3's, which one can only assume that they have general problems with their screens.)

Because these were already paired on the PC ... we could use them to track the items we needed, such as Heart, sleep, etc. but were not able to see anything on the watch themselves. Unfortunately, the pairing from my pc got broken and now in trying to set it up, it has come to a drastic end, as I cannot see the pairing number that it is supposed to display on the watch.

Therefore I am out of pocket for a product that I would have really thought would last a lot longer than 2 years and that is for fairly inactive people such as myself and my wife at age 55, 56 that only needed to keep track of some health factors such as heartbeat, etc. So I would really like to warn future potential buyers of this product to rethink their investment as I feel that even 2 years fall short of the life expectancy of a product such as this. So if you want to keep a watch for longer than 2 years then maybe go look at the other options in the market as these are not robust enough for even mild activity.
