Fitbit versa - waste of money

I am greatly saddened by the fact that my Fitbit versa, which has just recently gone out of the 1 year warranty, has decided to randomly not go back on again, even though the watch was not dropped/knocked/damaged. Although fully charged (can be seen by the heart rate monitor on the underneath being on) the display screen will not come on and we have tried rebooting it and following every step given to us and no luck. I believe this Fitbit was a waste of my money and upon querying about it, Fitbit stated that due to the fact that it is out of warranty, they cannot help. I will not be buying a Fitbit again as I was under the impression that it was a long lasting, durable watch - and I was wrong. Just 1 years and 5 months of using it, it no longer works and as a hard working student who works for my money, I am not impressed.
