FitBit Ionic PR Stunt - lies to consumers

I bought a FitBit Ionic for R8000 three years ago. On 22 March 2022, all Ionic watches worldwide were recalled for safety reasons - these articles can be found everywhere. My watch was switched off. My refund was logged on 16 August 2022 - the article states 8 weeks. Today is 31 January 2023, and I am paying R150 per month for a FitBit app without a watch. According to the articles, Fitbit will provide me with a $250 refund... these were all lies!!! Here I am today with a useless R8000 watch and a FitBit app membership until the end of March 2023 that I have to PAY for. Stay away!
