Fitbit devices are absolute *******

This device is the worst ever. Expensive for nothing. We buy these expensive devices only to last a year and it died and when I contacted Fitbit I was told my battery is faulty and it's out of warranty so they cannot assist me. But is it possible for a lot of people to have a battery problem? Fitbit doesn't want to admit that their expensive devices are *******. Worse there isn't even a center where I can take this battery to be replaced.
