Fitbit dark screen

This is my second fitbit. I now have a Fitbit chatge 3. Ever since the last software update I can't tell the time as the screen is so dim. Always had 3 settinhs of brightness... now only 2. Nothing seems to work. Did a live chat with the support team with no luck. I cant tell the battery strengh or heart rate. The just sent me an email stating that I dont qualify for a replacement. These watches are expensive but worth nothing now! So dissapointed!!!
