Fitbit app undergoing maintenance

In November 2019, I was lucky enough to receive a Fitbit as a gift from my husband. It worked perfectly. Early January it said the App had to update. After the app's update, it continues to say that Fitbit.com is undergoing maintenance. It is already end of Feb and still undergoing maintenance. I emailed fitbit but received nothing yet. Please help. This is my only watch and a very expensive one too.
