Don't but Fitbit Charge 3. Fatal syncing issues

Fitbit Charge 3 is the biggest piece of ******* technology I have ever owned. It refuses to sync with my phone. I have done EVERYTHING suggested in their troubleshooting. Reinstalling software, rebooting all devices, trying on different networks, leaving my Bluetooth on, syncing everyday and not leaving it too long. But every single time I try to sync the device to my phone app it takes for ever, like 2 hiutlrs of constantly trying and then eventually it'll randomly sync. Same when I try update the software on the device. I have lodged 2 complaints with their support via their website and they just do not reply. Also it is totally inaccurate with step counts and heart rate, when I compare with my husband's I watch and my phones step count its the only device that is different to all the other data, but not slightly like 10 000 steps difference and 30bpm. There is no recourse for me to sort this out, I have been so patient and tied my best to troubleshoot. This morning I have been rying to sync for 3 hours!!! In the mean time I cannot get my goals for Health Insurance so I paid for this device and still paying extra for health insurance even though I am getting my goals. Now i to purchase a new device to replace this. Fit it actually costing me double now. Worst choice in smart watch ever. Throwing this one in the dustbin.
