Disappointed

My husband and I bought our Fitbit Charge HR in 2016, less than a year later the straps started coming apart and the Fitbit stopped working. We were replaced with new ones because it was still under warranty. Now ten months down the line and the same thing occurs. Does this product last for less than a year. Are we supposed to buy new ones every year??? truly disappointed with their product and service
