Defective Fitbit Surge watch straps

<p>After having been through the same experience several times with Fitbit, I have researched the issue online and was horrified to discover that Fitbit's most expensive product is defective. Worse still it has been for more than a year and yet Fitbit are still flogging the same unmodified products everywhere. The bogus warranty effectively replaces the first broken item when it breaks after its purchase and then you're done as the product is unlikely to last more than 6 months thereafter if used daily (and those on Health and Vitality insurance schemes will get penalised if you don’t wear it daily). </p>
