CANNOT FIND HELP !!

This has been a nightmare. I just bought my fitbit Versa 3 and it has been impossible to get anything done for 2 days. First, the app is not free. Every review I consult says the app should be free. But the app is asking my credit card. Then I try to register an account, it keeps on telling me I have the wrong password. THE PAASSWORD I JUST CREATED. Then it says it emailed me the link to RESET my password, NO LINK after SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. No way to contact them if you do not have an acoount, and the account keeps on saying i cannot sign in. I am UNBELIEVABLY FRUSTRATED. I've been a suunto girl but thought I'd give this a go. BIG MISTAKE. Cannot find help ANYWHERE.
