In June 2022 I signed up for the gym. They were doing a whole campaign to get people signed up. After going there with my friend for a few days, they eventually offered me a deal for 299 a month for 2 years. I specifically asked them if it was going to increase and the salesperson assured me that it would not increase for the 2 years. The regional manager was there that day and he signed off on it. Come June 2023 the premium increased. I called to explain on 2 occasions and asked them to please look into it. It was a specific question I had asked the salesperson and I was assured it wouldn't increase in those 2 years. I was told this was a deal tailor made for me. The fact also that on those 2 occasions not one person got back to me after promising to do so after i hsd enwuired why the premiu had increased.. I don't mind paying the increase, but it is a matter of principle. I feel like I was deceived just so I could sign the contracts and I am not happy about that. If this is being done to me, then I am certain this is common practice. This experience was and is at the Pietermaritzburg Branch.
