FIT24 GYM PARK SQARE UMHLANGA

<div>in December of 2019 i decided to join the new FIT24 gym that was due to open in January of 2020( as per the gentleman that assisted me Wenzil) . i signed my contract and was told that i needed to pay R120 for my access disc ( which i did) . i then inquired as to when the gym was going to open and i was told that it would be open in January and that my first debit order would go off in February. at that time the gym looked empty and i asked him if he was sure that everything would be up and running in January and he confirmed that they would.

fast forward to January the gym still didn't look half way near finished , when i asked one of the guys that canvas outside the gym office in park square about why the gym hadn't opened as yet , i was told that there was an issue with the plumping and once that is sorted out the gym would be opened. end on Jan cam and the gym still wasn't opened and with no communication from the gym itself was sent out to us explaining what was going on . so at the begging of this month i went to the gym again and spoke the another sales lady at the office and she reassured me that the gym would be open on the first week of Feb .

again the first week of Feb came and the gym still wasn't opened. i went back there again , at that point i told the lady that i found there this time that i want to cancel my membership sorely because i had waited so long for the gym to open and that there is no way that I'm going to pay for a gym membership that i haven't even used. she managed to talk me out of it and promised the gym would be opened on the 17th of Feb . i inquired about the debit order that's meant o go off on my pay date should the gym still not be open ( 20 feb 2019) and i was told that all debit orders would only start going off in March .

on the 17th the gym finally opened but was closed again 4 hours later, a communication was sent out that they are un able to trade because they were waiting for their occupational certificate. after the message that was sent i went to the gym and spoke to the manager Noleen and she reiterated what was said in the communication that was sent out but also reassured me and other members that were outside the gym that it would be opened on Friday ( 21 feb 2019) . i went back to the office to inquire about the debit order and i was reassured once again that all debit orders are set to go off in march and not to worry. now this was the 3rd person from the Park square Fit24 gym that reassured me that because of the delay in the grand opening of the gym , all debit orders would only start in March.

to my surprise on the 20th, i was debited R528 by a gym that's still not even opened , the manager **** to me and other members that it would be opened on Friday ( 21 feb) and when i ask the staff members again today im being told that its due to open on Monday. what i don't understand is why Fit24 debited my account for a membership that ive never even used. their gym is still not open. None of the staff members seem to know what is going on or when they are opening but they r busy taking our monies. when i asked the why i was debited today and that i want my money back in my account , i was told to reverse my debit order . so i must mess up my credit score by reversing a debit order from a gym that's not even opened? IVE never seen of such incompetency
