FIT24 DEBITS DURING THE LOCKDOWN ARE *******

Hopefully this serves as advice to members or potential members of FIT24 gyms. They have been debiting members whilst the gym is closed due to the lockdown regulations but ALL other gyms have not been debiting their members during this time. According to the law it's ******* to take money without offering a product or service in return. We are all affected in some way by the impact of Covid19 regulations but charging us for the use of the gym whilst we cannot utilize it shows that all FIT24 are interested in is lining their pockets and unduly enriching themselves. We are talking hundreds of thousands of rands in debits every month whilst their expenses are close to zero. They are now eager to get the gyms open under restricted access so that they can legally debit you whilst you will not have access to the gyms in the same manner as prior to the lockdown. Please note that as much as we are all anxious to get back to gym, access will be under restrictions, limits to numbers etc. This will go on for a while until the lockdown is over. This will be to the members' disadvantage because not everyone will have the time to stand in a queue to enter a gym or wait in a queue to use equipment. You will still be debited the full gym fee whilst having limited use and access! So do not think that the gym has the members' interest in mind with opening. They merely want to take your money legally since their current method cannot be sustained indefinitely.
