Long term gym contracts.

My wife and myself joined this gym in Olivdale near to our home approximately 18 months ago and paid for 3 years in advance. Due to Covid we have not really been able to attend. So life happens, it is what it is and one does not blame the gym for Covid so we did not ask for any kind of refund due to Covid. However we receive an sms advising us now that this gym is moving out the area and we must use another gym instead " Gym Company" . We will not be using this new gym as it is quite a lot further to travel. We did not receive any advance warning or any attempt to contact us with this new set up or any way in which to compensate us. In short we just lost another 18 months gym that we have already paid for. In short DONT PAY ANY GYM UPFRONT, GO ON A MONTH TO MONTH CONTRACT ONLY. DONT GET SUCKERED INTO ANY LONG TERM CONTACTS.
