No delivery from app order

I am most disappointed with the Fishaways app. I place an order via the app for delivery yesterday and selected a store that was marked as available to deliver to me. An hour later I was called by the store to be informed that I am out of the delivery area and I would have to come and fetch my order if I want it. I had no choice but to go to the store as my family was waiting for supper. The whole point of placing an order for delivery would be to avoid crowded places given the Covid 19 pandemic that we are all struggling with. Very disappointing from Fishaways. The store did not even have my order ready when I got there and did not even offer to compensate me for the inconvenience.
