Fishaways Disgusting Owner at El Ridge Corner Boksburg

Wow what a awful experience at Fishaways at El Ridge Corner in Boksburg. I ordered 2 calamari boxes and a prawn salad. When we received the order I took it and went to my car where my wife was waiting for me. She opened the bag to double check the order and to our disguss saw how small the calamari boxes were. It is a pathetic portion for R90. I went back in to ask for my money back and the manager told me that because I took the food out the store that I could have eaten half of it and now want my money back. I almost lost it. He then upon my request phoned the owner just to get a reply that the owner does not feel obligated in returning my money and that I purchased food from his store and must go eat it. In my life I have not felt this betrayed by any franchise ever. I am a ambassador in my career and community and I promise Fishaways that they will hit a reputation knock after this. If this is the way this franchise wants to do business in this day of a crippling economy they have something coming to them. The owner of this store needs to be held responsible and I'm sure from the experience I received from him he feels above the community well guess what Mr Owner your day will be arriving quite sooner than you thought. Have it ever crossed your mind that middle class households are still trying to support you through battling financial times and then you turn around and give them this type of treatment. You are a disgusting business and I will spread the word. Enjoy your business further and the best of luck.
