Absolutely disappointing
Among my order I had ordered two portions of calamari sticks, one portion frilled and one fried. When I sat down to eat with my mother and cousin (who were hungry and quite looking forward to their food) and we opened the two portions of calamari we were a bit confused. The fried portion was placed in a little box which was filled and looked great but the grilled portion was utterly disappointing. It was in a styrofoam box with literally 5 (yes, I counted) tiny pieces of really sad looking strips of calamari. The fried portion, on the other hand, had 12 bigger and better looking pieces. When I then approached the counter and queried about this I was rudely told that the grilled portion was exactly the same thing as the fried portion and that the fried portion only looked more and better because it was fried. I was completely dumbfounded and there wasn't really anything I could do. I will not be returning to the Fishaways in Sandton City again.
