ZERO RETURN POLICY!!
FirstShop’s “14-day returns policy” is completely misleading.
I tested the product as advertised and found it did not work for my needs. It remained in original condition, with all packaging intact and even the protective stickers still in place. Despite this, the return was refused, with FirstShop claiming it was now a “used” item.
Testing a product is not the same as using it.
I wonder how so many good reviews was amassed was it paid bots? Your customer support is shockingly bad!!!!!
This isn’t a real returns policy—it’s a loophole to avoid responsibility. Very disappointing service and zero accountability.

We’d like to clarify again that the Epson Perfection V39 II is designed for scanning printed photos and documents, and does not support scanning photographic negatives. From our side, the product listing does not state that it has this capability.
That said, if there is anything on our listing that may have been unclear or could reasonably be interpreted differently, we would genuinely appreciate you pointing it out to us. If we are at fault in any way, we will absolutely review this and make it right.
Regarding returns, once a product has been opened and tested, it is considered used and cannot be returned for credit unless it is faulty. This forms part of the returns policy made available during the checkout process and on our website, which is accepted when an order is placed.
We do understand your point around testing, and we always aim to apply these guidelines fairly and consistently for all customers.
We take feedback seriously, and all of our reviews reflect real customer experiences. You’re welcome to reach out to us directly if you’d like us to assist further or help you find a suitable alternative for your needs.
