Warranty not honoured.

Have attempted to negotiate a return for a faulty Corsair DRAM memory module from firstshop only to be told the memory I have is "out of warranty and the best way forward is for you to purchase a new unit."

Granted, the price of memory is relatively cheap, but from a customer service standpoint, not honouring this warranty I find reduces my confidence in Firstshop to zero. A pity, as they were my favourite supplier.

I do hope someone from firstshop/firsttech takes a look at this and acts accordingly either to choose to supply a different memory brand with clearly outlined warranty terms or to state that they will not honour a lifetime warranty of items at purchase time.
