Delivery time
Ordered a birthday present on Sunday 19 March 2023 and received an email that the payment was successful. Received another email stating delivery to Johannesburg, Pretoria area is 1 - 3 working days. I need the present this Saturday 25 March 2023, but online support (Athenkosi) says it will only be delivered 27 March 2023. Why then send me an email stating it will only take 1 - 3 working days to deliver? If you need something fast look somewhere else FirstShop does not deliver on time.

We would like to inform you that our standard delivery timeframe for the Johannesburg and Pretoria area is typically 1-3 working days, as per our stated expectations.However, due to the recent National Shutdown on Monday, March 20th, and the public holiday on Tuesday, March 21st, we were unable to count these days towards the delivery timeframe. Therefore, the first working day following these events was Wednesday, March 22nd. Our customer service team has already informed you that your order has been invoiced and will be collected from our warehouse, we are actively monitoring its progress. We will keep you updated on the estimated delivery time as we work to resolve this matter. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this delay may have caused.
