Absolutely unprofessional
Absolutely unprofessional!! We ordered drives more than two weeks ago, no delivery, no feedback from sales. and no follow up - Our projects are behind because of this. First Tech is very quick to deduct admin and other nonsensical charges when it suits them, but when the customer has real world costs that are due to delivery failure of over two weeks. We should absorb that?? Colin is doing absolutely NOTHING to rectify this, only replying with "we are looking into this"

09 Dec 2025, 10:57Hi Jacques, thank you for raising this. I am really sorry for the delay and for the impact this has had on your projects. You are absolutely right to expect clearer communication and faster follow up.
After looking into this, the delay happened because the stock needed to be supp**** from one of our regional branches when Gauteng ran out. Unfortunately, our logistics team did not update you about this change, which is where things went wrong on our side. That should never have happened, and I sincerely apologise.
We are addressing the issue internally, and the team is now prioritising your delivery to make sure it moves without any further delays. Colin is also following up with the branch to ensure completion as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your patience, and again, I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused. I will monitor this as well to make sure everyone is on top of things. Jarred.
