Refunds

I recently made a booking on booking.com to stay over at a first group lodge based in the Drakensburg. After choosing the option to “pay later” it immediately took the full amount off my account. After realizing within split seconds of making the booking I had booked the wrong dates, I cancelled my booking. As it was a free cancelation I would have expected the refund within 7-14 days as instructed by first group. It has been 3 weeks and I am yet to receive my refund. Phoning on a weekly basis and I receive the same response “it’s being processed”. Please be aware that first group does not stick to their word with regards to their refund policy. I will never book with them again.
