Insurance companies OMW - the fastest way to guarantee going grey

I have never liked Hollard insurance, have always found them *********** - when I bought my vehicle I specifically said any insurance company BUT Hollard and the sales lady does what all most sales people do - close the deal without disclosing all the finite details. After I had signed everything for my car I found out my motor vehicle was being covered by First Touch Communications. Weeks later only did I find out they in fact act for Hollard. I should have made the change then becos a fish always rots from the head down. I must state in the defense of FTC though, service wise they have not been too shoddy thus far until NOW (when it REALLY COUNTS), but that's always the case when it comes time to sort out a client's claim - this is the Achilles heel period of all insurance companies. My vehicle was involved in a hit and run accident with a *******picker and his trolley last week. FTC has honoured my claim HOWEVER here starts my nightmare. I am not sure if the error is with FTC or with Proline express. Someone has been giving me the run around since Tuesday 3 May 2016. Why would an insurance company send a client's motor vehicle to the other end of the earth (Marlboro) to be repaired if there is a Proline express literally 5 minutes from the client's door? I pay my monthly insurance instalments timeously, and I do not make you run around trying to collect money from me, the least I expect is 5-star prompt service and not to be told "well the vehicle is sitting at Area B and if parts arrive at Area B we may not be able to deliver them to Area A". Seriously!!! We are in the 21st century and if motor parts get to one place by vehicle surely they can be moved to another place the exact same way. A client does not want to hear excuses, instead we want to hear solutions. This is the way client's are happy clients and positive word of mouth is spread about a particular vendor. Please FTC - I don't need to hear any ands or buts, I would like my car to go to the Proline panelbeater closest to me and that is Sandton.
