Magalies Park - Zero tolerance for infants
Just a warning, whoever resonded to the email:***, needs training. In my opionion they have no customer service. Why should i book a 4 sleeper chalet when my kids are 1 & 2, i travel with 2 cots as they sleep in the cot. I dont mind paying a surcharge, but apprently i must get a bigger unit. That makes no sense. I just cancelled my book of the hotel, as he or she responded hotel is for 2 pax only, I have traveled widely within South Africa, kids in some instance under 3 are free or other resort age 2. But you have a zero tolerance on kids i see. Why must i book 2 hotel rooms ??? So i must leave them alone? You guys just have no logic. If logic at this place prevailed it would be awesome, but i would take my business to the Forever resot group at least they have a clear policy which is kid friendly.
Firstly let me apologize for the inconvenience caused and assure you that we will speak to the relevant staff member about her Customer service. Then regarding the unit that you wanted to book the reservationist was correct in the fact that our hotel rooms can unfortunately not accommodate children this is not Because we do not wish children in the unit it is purely that there is not enough space in the Unit for 2 camping cots and also our hotel rooms only have a small braai area and not a full kitchen area for self-catering. The reservationist should however have offered you a one-bedroom self-catering unit as these units are more comfortable for Parents with babies and toddlers. We will find out why this option was not provided to you. Once again I apologize for your experience and I sincerely hope we will see you again in the future.
