FPT- ELDENE- Disgusting service

FPT- ELDENE FLAT management has been disgrutling to say the least. they sent me a bill double the amount of electricity which i believe was guessed becaise that happened to be the month i wasnt even in the apartment. i queried the bill and requested for a meter reading to which i nevere received. instead,without alerting or notifying me,they cut off my electricity. despite my unhappiness,i went and paid the outstanding amount of that electricity way above my normal electricity. i then put in a notice to vacate. that as well was terribly handled. while i was in the premises and fortunately had taken a day off,they sent a person to come request for keys to my still then apartment. i queried how do they send someone for the keys early in the morning while i am still entitled to sleep in the apartment. i went to the caretaker(Boet) who then explained i needed to hand the keys over by midnight and hes not happy about it because he was also not alerted that someone was moving in ,meaning he had no chance to inspect the premises,clean and prepare for the next tenant. and because they had not communicated anything with me,i should just collect my things and dont worry about cleaning. i then asked if that wouldnt affect my deposit. he assured me that because they did not commuicate anything, my R5100 deposit is secured.

needless to say, they deducted R1500 from my deposit. when i queried,Cindy said it was for electricity, however they had 2 amounts of electricity in the bill of R500 and R700 forgetting that i had paid. i asked again for meter readings as it doesnt make sense.None has come forward.

all in all i left FPT- Eldene,not happy but was willing to let it all go until they messed with my money.

i am willing to pay the R500 for electricity but i want the rest of my money back.\they said its for inspection- what inspection? angel form FPT tells me it was connection of electricity of the first month when i moved in.i asked her why it was never carried through in the other invoices or my electricity cut off as is the case when theres outstanding amounts on the account?

I would be happy i f the ypaid back the R1000 atleast into my account.

in the years i have been there,FPT used to be great but this past year which led to my vacating it, the service has been apolling.

they hardly answer emails.

i just want my money!
