Can you trust them

I found a room, I was looking to rent, in Pretoria by FPT Properties in Pretoria, I went to their office in Sunnyside to get more information about the room and secure the place if possible. When I got there the lady told us there is not place at a mentioned place, and she doesn't see anything listed on their website because they had just hired a new technician or IT specialist who will only update the site information later that month. I left my contact details and phoned a couple of times times till I heard from someone that the room was taken by a new tenant and she didn't now about the room until a few days before she was accepted. Every time I called in I was told a different excuse by FPT administration staff. I don't know if I can trust them.
