Zero Service Since Account Reactivation

My FNB account went into arrears from Early 2013 to April 2015 for reasons that are not relevant to this complaint. What is relevant is that, on 20 May 2015 I made a deposit that more than covered the arrears and reinstated the account. I have been banking with FNB since that time.

Here's the first problem: I have not received a bank statement from FNB since my account was reinstated. They have the correct contact email address (which has not changed since I opened the account). I queried this fact with FNB last night and was summarily informed that "that there will be a charge of R13.00 per statement cycle". That's fifteen statements at R13.00 per statement. R195.00 to receive something that I am supposed to receive for free every month. According to FNB's 2016 Pricing Guide, I am supposed to receive free emailed monthly statements. I have not received one since my account was reinstated in May 2015. This is not acceptable.

Second: I have received less than 50 eBucks from FNB since my account was reinstated. This is not for a lack of effort on my part. I contacted eBucks and the response to my query ( ********** Q) was "Our records show that the status of your FNB profile does not allow you to earn eBucks." I was told to contact FNB directly. I called the call centre and spoke to Phakamile Mohoto on 09 June 2016 at 18h57. After explaining the entire situation, I was told that he needs to escalate and that he would contact me back the next day. I have had no response. On 21 June 2016 at 15:38 I contacted the FNB call centre again. I explained the situation again. I was told to deal with eBucks. I then told the agent that eBucks referred me to them. Again, I was promised and escalation and a call back. Nothing happened again. On 29 August 2016 at 10:41, an agent from FNB called me trying to offer me another FNB product. I told her about the situation and I was promised a call back once again. Nothing once again. That, FNB, is three times I've been **** to.

It isn’t that lack of eBucks that bothers me, though I feel that those are due to me for being a loyal FNB customer that has an account in good standing. There just is no service.
